Dear H,
Well Summer is over and your new School awaits. I hope you love the uniform and feel very grown up in it. I am sure you are excited about this new start.
I want you to know that I will be with you in my thoughts and only wish i could be taking you to Jersey College on this very special day.
I remember with great fondness our journeys to and from school counting cars ,doing maths and spellings and our conversations. I hope you will one day remember the good times we had and want to recreate these in the future.
Now you are 11 and going to JCG I think you should have your own mobile phone. Ask Mummy if she is happy for me to send you one. If you already have one or will not be allowed one it would be a bit of a waste to send one without permission.
I hope you had a lovely summer and did some nice things. I hope you got to see Grandma and your friends in England as well as a bit of sun.
